SATURDAY SLEUTH – Hidden in Plain Sight

Interactive family programme

20 April 2024, Saturday 10.30–12.00

There is a reason for everything. So why did István Haász use yellow for this artwork? And why just one shade of it? Why is this artwork covered with trapezoids? If the four sections of the artwork do not touch, how are they connected?

Join us at the next Szombati szemezgető (Saturday Sleuth) on Saturday, 20 April and tell us what you think. Then we will reveal what Haász says about his own works and the period when he worked almost exclusively in yellow. Using a technique similar to Haász’s, make a relief of your own to take home.

English-speaking families are welcome.

Interactive, family-friendly, thought-provoking workshop!

Workshop for children 6–12 and accompanying adults.

Entrance:  The Szombati szemezgető (Saturday Sleuth) programme is held on the third Saturday when 6-26-year-olds and two adults accompanying children under 18 from the EEA may visit the museum for free.

Programme fee: 1,500 HUF/child
